Supporting Our Community: A Story of Care and Compassion

Our Care Finder Navigator, Lisa, recently supported an older gentleman who was facing eviction from the caravan park he had called home for nearly 30 years. With compassion and determination, Lisa went into “seek mode” and successfully secured him an affordable rental property, a remarkable outcome, especially during the current housing crisis.

Lisa also delivered a special hamper, made possible through the generous support of Good Shepherd and the Frizelle Charitable Foundation as part of the “Hampers For Home” initiative.

The participant has shared how this support has “changed his life,” expressing deep gratitude for Lisa’s care and commitment.
