Multicultural Service Providers Roundtable
Our CEO, Shane Klinthworth, was honoured to participate in the Multicultural Service Providers Roundtable with the Hon Julian Hill MP, Assistant Minister for Citizenship, Customs and Multicultural Affairs.
This meeting provided a valuable opportunity for meaningful discussions and insights to advance our collective efforts across Queensland. This panel have set the base for exploring important topics including community settlement, the impacts of secondary migration, systemic racism in Australia, and the Unaccompanied Humanitarian Minors Program.
During the roundtable, the Assistant Minister referenced his speech at the MIA National Migration Conference 2025, which highlighted the significance of migration in our society. His speech celebrated Australia’s multicultural identity, acknowledged the contributions of migrants and refugees, and highlighted key reforms to improve integrity, inclusion, and regional support.
We are proud to collaborate with leaders who are shaping a more welcoming and equitable future for our multicultural communities and fostering an environment where everyone can succeed. We contribute to a community that embraces diversity and is built on respect and recognition of our shared humanity.
