Mental Health First Aid Training at 4Voices
Our CPC team partnered with 4Voices to deliver a Mental Health First Aid training for their volunteers and our staff. This valuable training equipped participants with the skills to recognise mental health challenges, respond effectively, and provide initial support until professional help is available.
We focused on building confidence in supportive conversations and reducing the stigma around mental health in our community. Participants learned practical tools for identifying concerns, approaching those in crisis, and knowing when to refer to professionals. Many expressed feeling more capable of helping others after the training.
It's amazing to see our partner organisations coming together with us to work on mental health support, aligning with our CPC program's mission of promoting community wellbeing. Through education and awareness, we're not only supporting individuals but we're also strengthening the care network within our community.
We're proud to have hosted this initiative and look forward to continuing similar initiatives that promote resilience, empathy, and connection.
