Meaningful Session with Our Multicultural Peer Support Workers
We had a meaningful session with our Multicultural Peer Support Workers (MPSW) from our Culture in Mind program. This program is delivered alongside our peer workers, whose lived experience enriches every aspect of our work.
The session focused on strengthening how we support our communities and deepening our understanding of the supervision framework. It provided space to reconnect with the MPSW role, reflect on our practice and role-plays, and ensure we continue to engage in ways that are culturally safe, grounded, sustainable, and supportive of our wellbeing.
We highly value the peer support role and recognise how vital it is to create safe spaces where peer workers can learn, share, and feel heard. Sessions like this help us stay connected, aligned, and ready to support community members with empathy and cultural humility.
