Culture in Mind
We are excited to introduce our “Culture in Mind” program, developed in partnership with the World Wellness Group. This initiative offers flexible, culturally responsive non-clinical psychosocial support for Multicultural individuals and families, promoting improved mental health and wellbeing.
This is a free service that offers holistic care that promotes emotional wellbeing, social connection, and practical support—empowering people to build resilience and work toward recovery.
Who We Support
We work with individuals who:
- Are aged 18 years and over
- Come from a multicultural background
- Live on the Gold Coast
- Are experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges
- Are in a stable condition and no longer require acute intervention
- Are ready and willing to engage in recovery-focused support
How We Help
Culture in Mind provides:
- Intensive support face to face via outreach
- Co-delivery in conjunction with Multicultural Mental Health Recovery Workers, Peer Support Workers and/or linguistic support
- A strengths-based approach to wellness, recovery, and social inclusion
- Practical assistance to meet everyday needs and personal goals
- Group support sessions
Referral Process
We accept referrals from:
- Queensland Health
- Community agencies
- Self-referrals
All referrals are triaged by our team to assess suitability and readiness to engage.
