Our Digital Sisters Program at Cura Aged Care
We had a meaningful digital skills workshop delivered by the Digital Sisters program at Cura Aged Care Wellness Centre. This session was run with Spanish-speaking participants, and was a great opportunity for them to learn about digital literacy in their own language.
A big thank you to our student placement, Kelly, who delivered the training as part of their certification as a qualified Digital Mentor, speaking in Spanish to better engage with our multicultural senior communities, not only delivering valuable information in a way they can understand and feel understood, but also creating connections by ensuring we recognise their needs and circumstances.
Our Digital Sisters program empowers women to get online safely, confidently, and affordably, helping them stay connected and become more independent. This program is proudly funded by Good Things Foundation Australia and Be Connected network partners.
