Gold Coast Multicultural Network Meeting
We hosted the first Gold Coast Multicultural Network Meeting of the year at the Southport Community Centre, and it was an inspiring and meaningful session, where our panel explored an important question: “Why do we gather?”
Together, we reflected on the purpose behind meeting quarterly and how these conversations help us grow as a multicultural community.
- We revisited the unique value of this network, a space where organisations come together to collaborate, advocate, and influence positive change for our communities.
- We discussed why it matters to have a broad range of voices in the room, and how each organisation contributes something meaningful and irreplaceable.
- We highlighted the importance of raising awareness about multicultural experiences at every level: Community, organisational, and government.
By connecting regularly, we strengthen our shared ability to identify community needs, support emerging challenges, and build long?lasting relationships that keep our multicultural Gold Coast thriving.
A huge thank you to our Community Development team for organising this meaningful discussion, to our incredible panellists for sharing their insights and to the attendees for participating in the conversation.
Together, we’re building a more connected, collaborative and inclusive Gold Coast.
